On Friday, June 6th, 2025, the Texas softball team captured the program's first national title with a 10-4 victory over Texas Tech in the Women’s College World Series. The clincher came in Game 3 of the best-of-3 championship series at Devon Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The bobbleheads are officially licensed by the University of Texas and the NCAA.
