This bobblehead commemorates NIU's dramatic upset victory over Notre Dame on Saturday, September 7th, 2024. Northern Illinois traveled to heavily favored Notre Dame and defeated the Fighting Irish by a final score of 16-14. The limited edition bobblehead features NIU’s mascot Victor E. Huskie standing on a turf base in front of a scoreboard showcasing the winning score from the biggest victory in the history of NIU football. The bobblehead includes a removable replica of NIU's Boneyard Chain, which was seen on the field following the game and made national headlines when NIU's Boneyard went viral. It is officially licensed by Northern Illinois University.
