This bobblehead features retired NFL referee, Jim Tunney. Known as “The Dean of NFL Referees”, Dr. Jim Tunney is also an accomplished speaker and author. Jim’s 31-year NFL referee career earned him a nomination to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Tunney was one of the officials during the 1981 NFC Championship Game and was right next to Joe Montana, who was laying on the ground as Dwight Clark came down with "The Catch". Tunney joked with Montana, telling him, "You threw it in the stands” before quickly letting Joe know that “Dwight caught it”. You can order "The Catch" bobblehead here.
