A native of Walnut Creek, California, Amit’s parents, Elana and Yair Elor, came to the United States from Israel in 1980 to attend college. In her Olympics debut in Paris, Elor achieved her ultimate dream of becoming an Olympic champion by winning the gold medal in the women’s freestyle 68-kilogram category. The bobblehead is being produced in conjunction with Amit Elor.
